Krytox™ GPL 206 Grease is an H1 food-grade, NLGI Grade 2, PFPE-based grease with a PTFE thickener for general-purpose lubrication (−33°F to 500°F). It has a base oil viscosity of 243 cSt at 40°C.
Krytox™ GPL 206 is a high-performance fluorinated grease engineered for use in severe environments where conventional lubricants fail. Formulated with a chemically inert perfluoropolyether (PFPE) base oil and thickened with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), this grease offers unmatched thermal stability, oxidation resistance, and material compatibility. It is ideal for components exposed to high temperatures, reactive chemicals, oxygen service, or vacuum conditions. With an NLGI Grade 2 consistency, GPL 206 is widely used in industrial valves, bearings, actuators, seals, and other precision components requiring reliable, long-lasting lubrication. Its non-migrating nature and chemical inertness also make it suitable for critical applications such as data center cooling system O-rings, where coolant leaks can compromise system uptime and lead to catastrophic hardware failures.
