Krytox™ GPL221 is a PFPE-based grease engineered with a PTFE thickener and additized sodium nitrite for improved anti-corrosion performance. Krytox™ GPL221 is commonly used in a broad variety of applications within the automotive and industrial markets.
Krytox™ GPL221 exhibits exceptional rust protection at ambient temperatures, corrosion protection at elevated temperatures and anti-wear performance.
Krytox™ GPL221 has a base oil viscosity of 7.8 centistokes at 40°C and is suitable for use in applications up to 104°C (220°F).
Krytox™ GPL221 greases are white buttery greases with all of the same chemical properties as the Krytox™ GPL101 oil that they are made from.
Krytox™ GPL221 has lower molecular weight of the base PFPE oil, that improves functionality at lower temperatures for specific applications.
