Overview
Krytox™ GPL 226 is an H1 food-grade, white PFPE-based grease with sodium nitrite for enhanced corrosion and rust protection and anti-wear performance. This specialty grease is engineered with a high-quality perfluoropolyether base oil (Krytox™ GPL 106) and thickened with a PTFE powder.
This exceptionally long-lasting grease can be used in a wide variety of lubrication applications across the automotive, industrial, and food processing industries. Krytox™ GPL 226 provides excellent rust protection at ambient temperatures, corrosion protection at elevated temperatures, and anti-wear for applications with high metal-on-metal contact.
Krytox™ GPL 226 has a base oil viscosity of 243 centistokes at 40°C and is suitable for use in high-temperature operation up to 260°C (500°F). This performance lubricant exhibits a high molecular weight for enhanced lubrication performance at medium to high operating temperatures and environments.
