Krytox™ GPL 227 Grease is an H1 food-grade, NLGI Grade 2, white PFPE-based grease with a PTFE thickener and sodium nitrite for enhanced anticorrosion performance (−22°F to 550°F). It has a high base oil viscosity of 460 cSt at 40°C.

Overview
Krytox™ GPL 227 is an H1 food-grade, white perfluoropolyether (PFPE) grease that is additized with sodium nitrite for improved corrosion, rust, and wear protection.
Krytox™ GPL 227 delivers exceptionally long-lasting lubrication performance and is used in a wide range of applications in the automotive, industrial, and food-processing industries. This lubricant provides excellent rust protection at ambient operating temperatures, exceptional corrosion protection at elevated temperatures, and unrivaled anti-wear performance in high metal-on-metal surface contact.
Krytox™ GPL 227 is formulated with the high-quality PFPE base oil Krytox™ GPL 107 and thickened with a PTFE powder. It exhibits a high molecular weight for improved lubrication at high temperatures.
