Tenox™ 21 food-grade antioxidant is 20% tertiary-butylhydroquinone and 1% citric acid in a medium of corn oil, propylene glycol, and glycerides. It has high efficacy in highly unsaturated vegetable oils and edible animal fats.
Tenox™ TBHQ and solutions have excellent solubility in fats and oils and carry through effectiveness in frying applications. Tenox™ 21 stabilizes various fats, oils, food, and cosmetics against oxidative deterioration, thus extending product shelf life.
