ROCIMA™ 63 is a dry film preservative blend that contains three different active ingredients, carbendazim, diuron, and octylisothiazolinone, for exceptional protection against fungi, algae, and mold.
ROCIMA™ 63 is a combination dry film preservative from LANXESS that contains three different active ingredients to cover a broad range of fungi, algae, and mold. It provides exceptional performance, especially in exterior paint and coating formulations where algae growth and mold defacement can be challenging. It is also an excellent choice for use in various building materials, such as caulks, sealants, stucco, stains, and others.
The mixture of the active ingredients in ROCIMA™ 63 offers two modes of action for microbial protection. One prevents the treated surface from serving as the substrate for contaminating microorganisms to grow and proliferate. The second happens when the surface becomes wet through rain or condensation; the controlled diffusion of the active ingredients into the wet phase prevents the growth of microorganisms on the surface layer.
ROCIMA™ 63 is primarily designed for use in water-based systems; however, it can be used in solvent-based systems, depending on its compatibility with the final product and formulation ingredients. ROCIMA™ 63 is a preferred dry film preservative over a number of competitive products due to its long-lasting efficacy and proven performance.
