Overview
ZELEC® acid alcohol phosphates are effective internal release agents used in manufacturing composites. When neutralized, they can also be used as antistatic agents.
ZELEC® UN-LC is a useful internal release agent for externally heat-cured composites where color is of concern. Its low color allows it to be used as an internal release aid without affecting the final color of the molded part. ZELEC® UN-LC can be used in pultrusion, matched metal die, compression molding, sheet molding, and bulk molding operations. It can also be used as an antistatic agent when properly neutralized.
