Valikat® BiZn 120D is a metal carboxylate-based polyurethane catalyst blend consisting of bismuth and zinc. It can be used in polyurethane applications and polyether, polyester, and PTMEG-based elastomers.
Valikat® BiZn 120D is a sustainable zinc/bismuth metal carboxylate catalyst for polyurethane applications and polyether, polyester, and PTMEG-based elastomers. It offers delayed curing and a longer pot life for applications requiring a longer open time. Valikat® BiZn 120D is effective with both aromatic and aliphatic isocyanates and is recommended as a safe, environmentally friendly alternative to other toxic mercury-based catalyst options.
