Overview
POLYOX™ WSR 301 Fine Powder NF is a water-soluble, non-ionic poly(ethylene oxide) polymer. It carries USP approvals and can be used in applications that require pharmaceutical grade materials. POLYOX™ WSR 301 Fine Powder NF is commonly used as a film forming resin in the manufacture of denture adhesives due to it high degree of wet tack and low toxicity. It can also be used to improve the feel of creams and lotions. POLYOX™ WSR 301 Fine Powder NF imparts a high level of lubricity to solutions and for this reason it is used in lubricant strips for razor blades. When used as binder in ceramics POLYOX™ WSR 301 Fine Powder improves green strength, decreases extrusion pressure, and burns out cleanly.
