Viton™ GLT-200S
Viton™ GLT-200S is a low-viscosity, peroxide-curable fluoroelastomer with 64% fluorine content. The product offers exceptional low-temperature flexibility for molding applications.
Chemours Viton™ GLT-200S is a fluoroelastomer gum manufactured using Advanced Polymer Architecture (APA) technology. Viton™ GLT-200S has 64% fluorine content and is composed of perfluoro-methyl vinyl ether (PMVE) vinylidene fluoride (VF₂) and tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) with a peroxide cure site. Viton™ GLT-200S offers an optimized molecular weight distribution and excellent low-temperature resistance. Viton™ GLT-200S is used in injection and transfer molding applications and can be blended with Viton™ GLT-600S for an intermediate viscosity. Utilizing the latest Chemours APA technology, this fluoroelastomer gum grade offers low-temperature performance, improved water resistance, and excellent compression set resistance with either low or no post-cure required.
