Viton™ A-700, formerly VTR-6769, is a gum fluoropolymer with a high viscosity compared to other A-type gum polymers. Viton™ A-700 is designed for use with Viton™ curative VC-50.
Viton™ A-700 fluoroelastomer is an A-type gum polymer composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP) and vinylidene fluoride (VF₂).
Viton™ A-700 contains 66% fluorine content, is easy to process, and offers excellent physical properties. Viton™ A-700 is a high-viscosity polymer best suited for compression molding applications. Alongside the improved flow and easy processing benefits, this gum improves tear properties and compression set resistance.

Compression molding of gaskets, O-rings, and seals
Profile extrusions, such as cords and tubing
Calendered sheets, when a blend of gum polymers is used
Extrusion applications of rubber and elastomers
Can be blended with other gum polymers to alter the viscosity
Coatings of fabrics or other substrates
