Viton™ A-500 Pellets
Viton™ A-500, formerly VTR-6517, is a gum fluoropolymer with an intermediate viscosity compared to other A-type gum polymers. Viton™ A-500 is supplied in pellet form and is designed for use with Viton™ curative VC-50.

Overview
Viton™ A-500 is an A-family fluoroelastomer gum composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP) and vinylidene fluoride (VF₂) for improved processing capabilities compared to existing fluoroelastomer processes.
Viton™ A-500 contains 66% fluorine content and improves rheology and physical properties. Viton™ A-500 is an intermediate-viscosity polymer suitable for injection, compression, and transfer molding applications.
