Terpolymer of hexafluoropropylene, vinylidene fluoride, and tetrafluoroethylene
Viton™ AL-600 is an AL-type fluoroelastomer gum composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP), vinylidene fluoride (VF₂), and tetrafluoroethylene (TFE).
Viton™ AL-600 contains 66% fluorine and is similar to Viton™ AL-300 but with a higher viscosity. Viton™ AL-600 can be blended with Viton™ AL-300 for an intermediate viscosity. Viton™ AL-600 is typically used in applications when low-temperature flexibility is required.
Insufficient flexibility or tear of rubbers or elastomer compounds at low temperatures
Automotive and aerospace fuel injector O-rings and rubber parts
Molded parts that require low-temperature flexibility
Valve stem seals and elastomeric membranes
Air intake manifold gaskets
Injection and transfer molding applications
Fabric coatings and general paint solutions
