Overview
Viton™ B fluoroelastomer is a B-type gum polymer that is composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP), vinylidene fluoride (VF₂), and tetrafluoroethylene (TFP) with 68.5% fluorine content.
Viton™ B is featured with a higher viscosity compared to other B-type gum polymers and is best suited for compression molding applications. Viton™ B provides excellent resistance to fluids and retains flexibility in dry heat environments and process conditions. This grade is suitable for molding applications when pellet form is preferred.
