Chemours Viton™ A-200, formerly called VTR-5995, is a low viscosity gum fluoropolymer that is designed for use with Viton™ curative VC-50.
Chemours Viton™ A-200 is an A-type fluoroelastomer gum that is composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP) and vinylidene fluoride (VF₂). Chemours Viton™ A-200 provides improved processability in comparison to other existing fluoroelastomer (FKM) solutions. Chemours Viton™ A-200 contains 66% fluorine content and is a low viscosity polymer material that offers good compression set resistance. Viton™ A-200 can be blended with other higher viscosity Chemours Viton™ polymer materials to improve processability, compression sets, and flow characteristics.
