BONDERITE® L-FG F 599AL is a graphite-based, oil-in-water emulsion designed for warm forging and forming of complex aluminum parts.
BONDERITE® L-FG F 599AL is an oil-in-water-emulsified graphite lubricant that offers improved performance over BONDERITE® L-FG F-576S ACHESON, previously known as Deltaforge F-576S ACHESON. It is designed for warm forming intricate aluminum components on multi-station or orbital presses, as well as non-isothermal aluminum forging operations. It combines different types of active lubricants to handle various temperatures and loads, meeting the extreme lubrication demands of warm forging processes. Because of the water-based formula, operators can adjust the amount of water added to the concentrate to help regulate and cool tool temperatures. Meanwhile, the emulsion allows the lubricant to flow into narrow cavities that can be difficult to reach, and it helps lubricate moving parts within the pressroom, such as ejectors and transfer systems. BONDERITE® L-FG F 599AL is supplied as a concentrate to be diluted before use. The typical dilution ratio is between 2 and 10 parts of water to 1 part of product. The product can be applied using a spray system or flooding techniques.

During warm forming or forging operations, complicated aluminum parts can be challenging to lubricate properly. These parts have narrow passages that can be challenging to reach. As a result, parts are hard to form, resulting in difficult release, excess scrap, shorter die life, higher costs, and inefficient processes.
