ALKANOX™ 240 Granular, similar to ALKANOX™ 240 Powder, is a highly efficient phosphite antioxidant that effectively reduces peroxide-induced oxidative degradation while processing polymeric materials and thermoplastics. It carries a broad range of FDA approvals for food contact applications. ALKANOX™ 240 is a cost-efficient general-purpose organo-phosphite antioxidant for use in high-temperature processes due to its low volatility and superior color control and protection.
ALKANOX™ 240 Granular is a commonly used polypropylene for its minimal LTHA color and gas-fading properties. It is also a preferred antioxidant for polyolefins, polycarbonate, ABS, and polyesters when thermal stability and color protection are required. Furthermore, this grade generally proposed process stabilizers in coatings, hot-melt adhesives, and sealants.
