Viton™ GF-600S is a high viscosity peroxide-curable fluoropolymer gum that has 70% fluorine content. It offers excellent low-temperature properties and improved resistance to oils and fluids.
Viton™ GF-600S is a fluoroelastomer gum manufactured using Advanced Polymer Architecture (APA) technology. Viton™ GF-600S contains 70% fluorine and is composed of hexafluoropropylene (HFP), vinylidene fluoride (VF₂) and tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) with a peroxide cure site.
Viton™ GF-600S offers excellent resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, water, steam, and acids. It is also easy to process and provides low-temperature resistance. Viton™ GF-600S can be blended with Viton™ GF-200S for an intermediate viscosity.

Excellent compression set resistance with both low and no post cure
Low fluorine content of commercially available FKM fluoroelastomers
Limited flexibility of fluoroelastomer compounds at low temperatures
Sensitivity to high shear in the processing of FKM polymers and synthetic rubber compounds
