Royco® 481 is a mineral oil–based fluid blended with modern additives for improved low-temperature and oxidation performance. Royco® 481 is suitable for use as a flushing and preservative fluid for aircraft components and fuels systems due to its longevity and corrosion protection. Royco® 481 is primarily engineered for gas turbine engines and specific military aircraft jet engines with approvals under MIL-PRF-6081D and MILSTD-2073-1C for preservative performance and fuel systems protection.
