Elvacite™ 4333 is a low–molecular weight methacrylate copolymer resin used as a binder for inks and coatings and a dispersing aid for pigment pastes.
Elvacite™ 4333 is a thermoplastic methacrylate copolymer resin with a low molecular weight and high glass transition temperature (Tg). It is an ideal binder for inkjet ink formulations or sprayable coating formulations that require a low viscosity for application. Owing to its relatively high Tg, this grade forms durable films that are resistant to weathering, moisture, and chemicals. Elvacite™ 4333 is compatible with various inorganic and organic pigments, making it useful for preparing pigment dispersions. It is offered as a free-flowing solid bead with good solubility in ketone, ester, toluene, and chlorinated hydrocarbon solvents.
