Elvacite® 2008C is a low molecular weight acrylic resin used as a binder and film former in formulations that require low viscosity at high solids.
Elvacite® 2008C is a methyl methacrylate polymer with very low molecular weight.
It has been "cooked" to remove any residual monomer from the resin and is useful in reactive formulations.
Elvacite® 2008C is used in applications that require high solids but low viscosity.
It produces clear, durable films and works well to improve pigment dispersion.
Elvacite® 2008C is commonly used as a binder
in gravure inks as a binder to produce inks with high gloss and vibrant color.
It is also used frequently in lacquers and topcoats to form very hard films with excellent durability and UV resistance.
