Tyzor® AA-65 is a solvent-based titanate with 65% active content. It is used as a cross-linker, a curing agent, and an adhesion promoter for inks and coatings.
Tyzor® AA-65 is a titanium acetylacetonate complex classified under the organic chelate portfolio of the Tyzor® titanates. It is a 65% actives product offered in 28% isopropanol and 7% ethyl alcohol. It features a high level of reactivity with hydroxyl and carboxyl groups and serves as an excellent adhesion-promoting, cross-linking, and curative agent for coatings and inks. When used for its cross-linking functionality, it helps to improve drying speed, solvent resistance, heat stability, and hardness. As an adhesion promoter, it forms chemical bonds with substrates containing hydroxyl or carboxyl functional groups. Tyzor® AA-65 can be used to form TiO2 films or catalysts in esterification, condensation, and addition reactions.
