Elvacite® 2014 is a soft, flexible methacrylate polymer.
This solid bead resin is soluble in aromatics, ketones, esters, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and glycol ethers.
Elvacite® 2014 is a medium molecular weight polymer and provides a moderate viscosity in solution.
The films formed by Elvacite® 2014 are UV resistant and remarkably flexible.
This resin provides excellent pigment wetting and is well suited for pigmented metal lacquers.
Elvacite® 2014 is well suited for use as a binding resin in coil coatings that require a combination of flexibility, durability, and clarity.
Coil coatings formulated with Elvacite® 2014 offer excellent corrosion resistance and moisture protection especially for bright metals like aluminum, brass, copper, and bronze.
Elvacite® 2014 offers optimal balance of flexibility and durability and is an excellent binder for seamless flooring.
