Citroflex™ A-2
Citroflex™ A-2 citric acid esters are bio-degradable polymer additives that offer enhanced flexibility and low warping characteristics with cellulose acetate.
Aurorium Citroflex™ A-2 (acetyl triethyl citrate) is an excellent plasticizer for food packaging plastics. It is also used as a fixative for perfumes and as a plasticizer and film strengthening agent in hair sprays, and nail polishes, as well as a component of various ink formulations.
Aurorium lower molecular weight citric acid esters (Citroflex™ C-2, A-2, C-4, and A-4) plasticize similarly to lower molecular weight phthalates, adipates, and sebacates in a variety of polymers.
