Epolene® C-13P Polymer

Epolene® C-13P is a powdered form, low density polyethylene wax. It is used as a base polymer in color concentrates, coatings, and hot melt adhesives.
Product Overview
Epolene® C-13P is a highly branched, medium molecular weight, LDPE polymer that is supplied as a powdered wax.. It is commonly used as a base for color concentrates where it offers excellent pigment dispersion and improved process-ability. Epolene C-13P can also be used in hot melt coatings and adhesives as a base polymer. It provides excellent grease resistance, high gloss, scuff resistance and low moisture vapor transmission. Additionally, it can be blended with paraffin waxes to increase the blend viscosity. These properties make it ideal for coatings and adhesives for packaging and paper. The low coefficient of friction of Epolene® C-13P makes it a useful lubricant for rubber compounding operations.
