Epolene® N-14P is a low molecular weight polyethylene wax powder that is used to improve scuff resistance of inks and coatings as a dispersing aid in color masterbatch.
Product Overview
Epolene® N-14P is a powdered polyethylene polymer that is used in color masterbatch as a dispersing aid due to good wetting properties. It also has a low coefficient of friction that enables it to be used as a processing aid and lubricant for rubber and plastic processing. Additionally, Epolene® N-14P is also used in paper coatings and printing inks to increase scuff and rub resistance. It can be easily melt blended with other waxes to increase abrasion resistance, tensile strength, and adhesion to fibrous substrates.
