Epolene® C-17P is a medium molecular weight, highly branched, low density polyethylene (LDPE). It is an excellent base polymer for color masterbatch and has even replaced linear low density polyethylene in many color concentrates because it provides easier processing and higher output. Epolene® C-17P can also be blended with other polymers and waxes used in hot melt coatings and adhesives to increase viscosity and allowed for controlled penetration into paper substrates. Coatings that include Epolene® C-17P have improved gloss, scuff resistance, grease resistance, and higher blocking temperatures.
